Freight Street Grill: Your 24/7 Diner for Delicious Wraps, Sandwiches, and Brunch

Very nice diner! Stopped in before going roller skating, place has parking lot in the back. Very clean smelling when walking in, friendly staff. Lots of great food choices from breakfast to lunch. Food was awesome, Fries are the best. Timing was great on everything. Ample seating, booths and bar seating. Prices were very reasonable!

Great place to drop by in the early afternoon or if coming back late from nyc (opens at 5am) fair price great breakfast

Freight Street Grille is a one-stop-shop for all your breakfast lunch and dinner needs! The breakfast menu is so large it could put regular diners to shame. The food is made fresh and fast and the customer service is fantastic. They are even open 24 hours. This place is one of my weekly go-tos for an awesome lunch. The triple decker sandwiches are an excellent choice as well as the array of chicken sandwiches as well. Freight Street Grill is open 24/7 and is available for delivery via Uber Eats. Definitely check this place out!

Catching a train at the Waterbury station, we had 20-25 minutes max to find somewhere to eat before the train departed. Love this place. For what it is, they delivered in every way. Sitting at the counter and telling their servers how much time we had to make the train, they were friendly, understood our situation (which, understandably, they must hear often) and bustled out two delicious egg sandwiches, one coffee and an orange juice. We had been here once before under the same circumstances with the former ownership. There may be less nostalgic advertisements on the wall, but other than this observation, I see little difference. Apparently, locals agree, as there were regulars sitting comfortably in what seemed to be their usual seats. For two, with a 25% tip, the bill was less than thirty dollars. Next time, we'll try some of their appealing lunch menu items.

Super yummy breakfast! Eggs Benedict was good and the home fries seasoned and crisped nicely! If they could have poached the eggs just a smidge longer that would have been great, it was a bit white and goopy. Our server was fantastic! Will be back!

Professional & Friendly staff. The manager was very helpful. I can see why people come to the establishment with their families and loved ones. I personally ordered a Philly Cheese Steak Roll with Fries. I would eat here again.

Seated the minute I walked in and drink order within a minute of sitting. I ordered bacon spinach and Swiss omelette apple/orange juice and coffee. THE CLEANEST IVE EVER SEEN. My new home

I used to come here when I was a kid with my dad and brother. Many years later we went back today. Obviously the decor and owner has changed over time. The place was very clean. The waitress was great. The food was delicious and filling. The portions were a good size. The price was really good. Many choices of food.
